We gather once a semester to welcome home study abroad alumni and introduce them to new international exchange students and scholars. Light refreshments will be served. We are looking for a limited number of volunteers that can donate part of their day to talk to interested students about study abroad. If you are interested in volunteering, email kheird1 [at] umbc [dot] edu with your availability.

Maryland Style Crab Feast

Come share a bit of Maryland culture with newly arrived international students. Tickets for the crab feast are available for purchase for $15.00 in Admin 224.

We are looking for a limited number of volunteers that can donate 45 minutes of their time to serve on the Returned Student Panel to talk about their time abroad. It is important to have a good representation of countries and regions. Interested volunteers should email kheird1@umbc.edu.

Make personal and professional meaning of your time abroad. Learn how to market your knowledge and skills on your resume, cover letters and in job interviews. Share your international experiences with other students. Speak with experts about other international opportunities including volunteering, working, and graduate study abroad.  Participants will receive information relevant to future opportunities that are globally oriented.
