Make personal and professional meaning of your time abroad. Learn how to market your knowledge and skills on your resume, cover letters and in job interviews. Share your international experiences with other students. Speak with experts about other international opportunities including volunteering, working, and graduate study abroad. Participants will receive information relevant to future opportunities that are globally oriented. Register here. The UMBC SAO will pay for the registration fee of the first 10 UMBC students to confirm their attendance.
Flat Tuesdays, lower lever
We gather once a semester to welcome home study abroad alumni and introduce them to new international exchange students and scholars. Light refreshments will be served.
Join us and other returned study abroad students for (free) lunch to discuss your study abroad experience.
We are looking for a limited number of volunteers that can donate 45 minutes of their time to serve on the Returned Student Panel to talk about their time abroad. It is important to have a good representation of countries and regions. Interested volunteers should email firstname.lastname@example.org.
These and other events are also highlighted on our myUMBC events page.
