UMBC Exchange Programs

A UMBC Exchange program is an affordable and immersive way to study abroad for a full semester or academic year while earning credit toward graduation. On an exchange program, you pay UMBC tuition and fees as usual, while housing costs would be paid to the host university abroad. You will take coursework with local and international students at your host university, either in English or the local language, if you are up for the challenge! Exchanges can be competitive, so be sure to mention your interest in an exchange program to your Education Abroad Advisor.

We are currently accepting applications for our UMBC Exchange Programs! If you have any questions about programs, please contact our office at
