Understanding Deadlines and Applications

• All students are required to complete the UMBC Study Abroad Application as this indicates to UMBC your intentions to participate in an upcoming term as a study abroad student.  The actual deadline for this application depends on the program you are applying to – see chart below for details.
• Some programs have additional applications to complete with external program providers in tandem or in addition to the UMBC Study Abroad Application.  The deadlines for these applications are separate from UMBC’s application deadlines, and some of UMBC’s application deadlines are earlier than provider deadlines in order to give our office adequate time to process your application.

Advising for these terms should be completed in the Fall semester prior to your intended departure term.
